Il Chiringo was born from a dream: to create a space where the sea breeze, Mediterranean cuisine, and unforgettable moments come together in perfect harmony.
On May 7, 2012, Pippo embarked on a journey across Europe in search of the ideal beachfront location. It was then that Cristiano Doni, a former professional soccer player, discovered a special spot in Mallorca. Upon seeing the location, Pippo instantly fell in love and without hesitation, left Italy to begin a new adventure on the island.
In the following months, Antonio, his lifelong friend, joined the project. During the first season, Gigi arrived, and as the team grew, Pierfa joined, contributing her essence and helping to consolidate Il Chiringo’s vision.
In May 2021, Il Chiringo Pizzeria was born, a new chapter we began in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. With effort and passion, we renovated it and brought it to life. In 2024, we continued to evolve with the opening of Casa Chiringo, while at the same time, Pierrino was born, keeping our essence intact.
But why Il Chiringo? We wanted a name with an exotic touch, something that reflected our Italian identity and the vibrant energy of the Mediterranean. Instead of “El Chiringo,” we decided to make it our own: Il Chiringo.
